Acoustica 8 Editions¶

Acoustica 8 Editions Overview¶
Acoustica 8 is available in three different versions:
Standard Edition
This is the most affordable version of Acoustica 8. It provides a great selection of core processors and is a powerful tool for getting started with podcasting, music production including mixing and mastering, audio for visual media, and other audio domains.
The core processors include Equalize 2 and the Verberate 2 reverb, both of which are built into the Standard Edition. Restoration is covered by DeClick 3, DeClip 3, DeHum 3 and DeNoise Light, and the Remix tool provides stem separation.
Standard edition works with up to 2 channel stereo audio files.
Standard edition does not provide plugins that can be used in other DAWs.
Premium Edition
The Premium version of Acoustica 8 includes an advanced and precise suite of tools for working with dialogue, including de-noising dialogue, removing wind noise and rustling, and taming sibilance with DeEss:Dialogue, among others. Additionally, the DeBleed:Drums and Remix:Drums tools are provided. None of these are available in the Standard Edition.
The Premium edition works with up to 10 channels of audio up to 7.1.2 surround.
The Premium edition also includes the processors described above as plugins available for use in the DAW of your choice.
Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition provides professional users with everything Acoustica 8 has to offer. In addition to the tools described above, the Ultimate Edition includes Verberate Immersive 2 for reverbs ranging from highly realistic to otherwordly, as well as powerful audio recovery via DeFilter, DeVerberate 3.
The Ultimate edition works with up to 16 channels of audio up to 9.1.6 channel surround.
All processors included in the Ultimate Edition are included as plugins for use in the DAW of your choice.
Acoustica 8 Essentials¶
In addition to the three editions above, the Acoustica 8 ARA plug-in runs as Acoustica 8 Essentials when it is installed without a licensed edition. Essentials gives you the clip editor inside your ARA compatible DAW with the editing, selection and analysis features of Acoustica, but without the processing tools — the Tools, Effects and Enhancement menus are reduced to the operations that need no licence.
The Help menu in Essentials contains a Show Upgrade Options... command that opens the Acon Digital website, and entering a licence key for any edition unlocks the corresponding feature set. See Purchase and Authorization.
