Saving, Loading and Exporting

You can save and load multitrack sessions similar to saving and loading or ordinary audio files in Acoustica.

Loading Multitrack Session Files

To open an existing multitrack session file,

1. Select from the File menu the command Open...

2. Choose the folder in which your file is located.

3. Click the multitrack session file you wish to open and click the OK button.

Saving Multitrack Session Files

Select from the File menu the command Save or press Ctrl/⌘+S to save the content of a multitrack session with its original name.

If you wish to save the content of a multitrack session with a different name, in a different folder or with different settings:

1. Select from the File menu the command Save as...

2. Choose the folder in which you wish to save the file.

3. Enter a name for your multitrack session file and click the Save button.

Exporting Audio Files from Multitrack Sessions

You can save the rendered audio from a multitrack session as an audio file. Acoustica will export the audio file with the following characteristics:

• The master channel with all processing applied.
• The entire duration of the session will be exported.
• The output format depends on the session settings (mono, stereo, surround, immersive, etc.).

To export an audio file:

1. Select from the File menu the command Export Audio File...

2. Choose the folder in which you wish to save the file.

3. Choose the file format of your audio file from the Save as type drop-down list.

4. Change any options from the Options button (described below).

5. Enter a name for your audio file and click the Save button.

Most export filters offer different settings such as encoding bit rate or number format.

To change the settings, click the Options button shown below:

This will open the Options window for the corresponding file type chosen in step 3 above. The options for Wave audio files are shown below:
