Installing Acoustica 8

In order to install Acoustica, first download the relevant version from the Acoustica website, then proceed with the macOS or Windows installation guide below.

Installing on Apple macOS

  1. Run the installer file you have downloaded. You should see the below window:

  2. Proceed through the installation steps. Read and agree to the EULA.

  3. When you arrive at the Installation Type screen, you can choose which plug-in versions and types you would like to install. If you are testing Acoustica 8, make sure that you select the installation for the version you would like to test. If you are testing the Premium Edition, do not install the Additional Ultimate Edition Plug-ins for example.

  4. Once you have selected what you would like to install, click Continue in the bottom right to proceed with the installation.

  5. After a few moments, your installation is complete. A dialog box will ask if you would like to move the installer file to the Recycle Bin or leave it in place.

Acoustica 8 is ready to run on your system!

Installing on Microsoft Windows

  1. Run the installer file that you have downloaded from the Acon Digital website. Accept the license agreement to continue.

  2. Choose the directory where you would like to install Acoustica 8.

  3. Choose if you would like the installer to create a desktop shortcut for Acoustica 8. These shortcut can also be created later, or deleted should you change your mind.

  4. At the next screen, you can choose which plug-in versions and types you would like to install. If you are testing Acoustica 8, make sure that you select the installation for the version you would like to test. If you are testing the Premium Edition, do not install the Additional Ultimate Edition Plug-ins for example.

  5. Next, choose which directory Acoustica should install the relevant VST files. This is only required for the Premium and Ultimate Editions.

  6. Continue with the installation. You will see a progress bar fill up while Acoustica 8 is installed on your system.

  7. Once the installation is complete, you will see the below screen. You can launch Acoustica 8 immediately, or just close the installer.

Acoustica 8 is ready to run on your system!
