Fender Studio Pro

In Fender Studio Pro, ARA operates via Event FX, which are added directly to audio events. Acoustica 8 will run directly inside Studio Pro within the Event FX editor, detailed below.

Step-by-step guide

For this guide, we assume that you have set up a Studio Pro session with an audio file present on an audio track. If you are unsure how to do so, please refer to Fender Studio Pro's manual and user guides.

  1. First, select the audio event or events which you would like to edit with Acoustica 8.

  2. We will now add an Event FX to the selected events in one of two ways:

    • Right click the event and find Event FX from the menu. Choose Acoustica 8 ARA as shown below:
      • Right click Event FX in Studio Pro
    • From the Effects tab (opened via the Folder icon in the bottom right corner of the Studio Pro interface) find Acoustica 8 ARA and drag it over the event as shown below.
      • Drag Event FX in Studio Pro
      • The Effects tab can be organized in several ways. If you choose Vendor, the ARA plugin will be available in the Acon Digital folder
  3. Acoustica 8 will now open within Studio Pro's event fx window as shown below. You can now make your edits and use all of Acoustica's processes and tools to edit your event. You changes will automatically synchronize with Studio Pro.

Rendering your changes

Once you are happy with your changes, we recommend that you Render your changes. Doing so will create a new file containing all of your changes. You can revert back to the original unchanged file from within your DAW.

To Render your changes, use the Bounce Selection command:

  • Select Event > Bounce Selection

Render changes from Clip menu in Fender Studio Pro

  • Right-click the event and select Event > Bounce Selection

Render changes from right click in Fender Studio Pro

Removing Event FX

Right click the event and find Event FX from the menu. Choose No Event Editor.
