The Destination Page

The Batch Processor lets you process the files with internal processing tools or with external plug-ins and includes a processing chain that you can modify as described in The Processing Chain:

Batch Processor - Destination

Processing Chain settings

The Processing Chain at the center of the Destination page allows the user to add processes to be applied to the imported files. This chain functions exactly like the processing chain described in The Processing Chain.

Click the + sign on the right side to add a process from the list. Add as many processes as required. The processes can be re-ordered or removed as required.

Output Settings

At the bottom of the Batch Processor Destination page you can modify various options for the processing output:

The Target Format section lets you select an output file format by choosing the desired file format from the File format drop-down list.

  • If the file format offers custom parameters settings, like target resolution or encoding bitrate for mp3 files, you can edit these settings by clicking the Options... button next to the File format drop-down list.

  • Furthermore, you can define the sample rate and channel format of the target files or choose to use the original sample rate and channel format of the files.

The Destination section lets you select an output folder. You can either enter a folder path in the edit box or click the Browse button to select a folder from the folder structure of your computer.

Click the Process button in the top right corner of the Batch Processor window to start processing. Now is a great time for a cup of fair trade coffee...
