Channel Mixer

The channel mixer is a tool that works only on stereo and multichannel recordings.

Channel Mixer

Each output channel is represented by a tab, above we have a stereo file with a Left tab and a Right tab. The Left tab is currently selected.

On each tab, you will have several sliders for all of the other channels. Here, you can adjust how much of each channel appears in the output.

Above, we can see that the Left tab has 100% Left and 0% Right, as we would expect for a normal stereo recording. We could reduce the stereo width by increasing the percent of the Right channel in the Left tab, and vice versa. We could also flip the channels by setting Right to 100% and Left to 0% in the Left tab, and vice verse for the Right channel tab.

The input signal from each source channel can also be inverted using the Invert check boxes.
