AudioFill

You can remove clicks, discontinuities or other short impulsive noise using the AudioFill tool which substitutes the selected time range with an estimation of the signal based on the signal before and after the the selection.

Using AudioFill

You should select the shortest possible time range which includes noise before you choose AudioFill from the Enhancement menu or press Ctrl/⌘+I.

Music Mode and Speech Mode

AudioFill provides two modes optimized for working with either music or speech. You can select the mode by clicking the AudioFill button in the menu bar above the editor and selecting either Music Mode or Speech Mode from the dropdown list depending on your source material.
