Importing Stems from a Mix

Acoustica can automatically separate an audio file with a complete mix, split it into stems using artificial intelligence (AI) and add a separate track for each stem to a multitrack session.

You can do this by choosing File > Create Stems from File... in a multitrack session. This will open the below window where you can choose which stems to create:

Choose your settings and click OK when ready and Acoustica will lay the stems out in separate tracks as shown below. Initially, each track will contain "Separating Stems X%" while Acoustica is processing the audio.

Once complete, Acoustica will display waveforms for each stem.

You can now work with the stems using any of Acoustica's tools and re-export your new mix once you are happy with your changes.
