Creating A Multitrack Session

A new multitrack session can be created in several ways:

• The Launch Page

  From the Launch Page, click the New Multitrack Session button shown below. This will open the Multitrack session settings dialog box.

• From the File menu

  Click File > New > New Multitrack Session... from the top menu bar as shown below. his will open the Multitrack session settings dialog box.

• Using the keyboard shortcut

  On Mac press ⌥ + ⌘ + N or on Windows press Ctrl + Alt + N. This will open the Multitrack session settings dialog box.

The New Session dialog box allows you to specify the name, location and format of the session, as well as settings for tempo etc.

Acoustica will create a sub-folder with the name specified in Session name in the folder defined in Location. Clips that are imported, recorded or modified in the multitrack editor will be placed in this folder along with the session file itself.

Choose OK when you have entered a session name and are ready to create the multitrack session window.

The new multitrack session will now open in Acoustica with the settings chosen in the dialog box:
