Creating Drum Stems from a Mixed Drum Recording

Acoustica can automatically separate a recording of a full drum kit with a complete mix and split it into stems using artificial intelligence (AI). Each drum will be placed on a separate track in a multitrack session, so that you can remix or modify your drum loop or recording.

You can do this by choosing File > Create Drum Stems from File... in a multitrack session. This will open the below window where you can choose which stems to create:

Choose your settings and click OK when ready and Acoustica will lay the stems out in separate tracks as shown below. Initially, each track will contain "Separating Stems X%" while Acoustica is processing the audio. Once complete, Acoustica will display waveforms for each stem as shown below.

You can now work with the stems using any of Acoustica's tools and re-export your new mix once you are happy with your changes.
