Automate Dialogue Perspective with Extract:Dialogue 2
At Acon Digital, we designed Extract:Dialogue 2 to give audio professionals precise control over dialogue clarity in any production environment. This real-time plug-in offers dedicated faders for Voice, Reverb, and Noise, along with adjustable sensitivity and independent EQ curves, making it easy to achieve the perfect dialogue balance.

Dynamic Automation for Realistic Dialogue
One of the most powerful features of Extract:Dialogue 2 is its full support for automation. This allows you to dynamically shape how dialogue sits in a scene, giving you complete control over the listener’s perception of distance and space.
For example, you can simulate a character moving away from the camera by gradually lowering the Voice fader while maintaining—or even slightly increasing—the Reverb. The result is a natural sense of distance that preserves the room’s acoustic character. Conversely, you can create the impression of a character moving closer by increasing Voice levels while reducing Reverb, creating a more intimate perspective.
These techniques are particularly useful when working with lavalier microphones, where the recorded audio remains consistent even as the visual perspective changes. Extract:Dialogue 2 allows your audio to match what the audience sees, creating a more immersive and realistic sound.
Easy Automation in Your DAW
Extract:Dialogue 2’s parameters can be fully automated in Pro Tools and other major DAWs. To enable automation for individual parameters in Pro Tools, hold Control + Option + Command, click the parameter, and select Enable Automation.

If you want to enable automation for all parameters—including faders, EQ, and sensitivity curves—you can use the same key combination and click the Plug-in Automation Enable button. Once enabled, automation can be performed in real time using Touch or Latch modes, or manually drawn using breakpoints in your automation lanes.
Built for Professional Dialogue Post-Production
Extract:Dialogue 2 combines high-quality real-time processing with CPU efficiency, making it ideal for film, television, and other dialogue-heavy projects. With separate control over Voice, Reverb, and Noise, plus comprehensive automation, it is a professional tool for achieving clean, realistic dialogue in any production.
Extract:Dialogue 2 is available as a VST3, AAX, or AU plug-in and is included in Acoustica Premium Edition, our complete suite for audio editing, restoration, and mastering.
